MAPUSA is working to register 30,000 new voters in Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin. US Census data indicates that there are over 153,000 eligible, but unregistered adults in the city of Milwaukee and another 33,000 in Madison. The focus of our work will be to increase the representation of traditionally disenfranchised communities in these cities through a non-partisan effort that utilizes locally-recruited, highly trained canvassers, who are paid a living wage.
